My Ideal Client

I work with individuals, couples, teens, kids, and families who want to better understand themselves and their relationships. Many of my clients identify as queer, neurodivergent, or part of polyamorous and chosen families. Together, we explore identity, emotion, communication, and healing through art, creativity, and connection in a supportive, affirming space.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master’s in Art Therapy from Lewis & Clark College and a BA in Art Practices with a minor in Psychology from Portland State University. My approach integrates art therapy, relational and person-centered frameworks, and a strong commitment to social justice. Art therapy allows us to explore feelings, conflicts, and hopes that can be hard to express through words. You don’t need to be an artist—art-making is about process, not product. I create a compassionate, affirming space informed by trauma awareness, Radical Queer Theory, and Intersectional Feminism. I have extensive experience with LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, polyamorous families, and children. My goal is to support self-expression, healing, and empowerment through creative exploration and authentic connection.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer, genderfluid, neurodivergent artist, my work is rooted in authenticity, expression, and liberation. I believe therapy is not just about reducing symptoms—it’s about reclaiming your voice, joy, and agency in a world that often asks you to shrink. I am deeply influenced by Radical Queer Theory, Intersectional Feminism, and collective healing practices. Advocacy and inclusivity are central to my work, and I strive to create spaces where all identities are celebrated and affirmed. Outside the therapy room, I find joy in art-making, gardening, picnics, and time with my partner and our three beloved cats. My hope is to model curiosity, creativity, and compassion—inviting clients to bring their full, beautiful selves into the room.
