My Ideal Client

Are you a lifelong seeker? Do you see life as an opportunity to learn and grow? Are you open to meeting the challenges and opportunities you face with a deep sense of inquiry without knowing? Do you value creativity in your life? Does the Eros of life both call to you and confuse you? Do you value your body’s wisdom? Do you believe that healing is fundamentally a related experience?

My Approach to Helping

My practice is rooted primarily in the relationship between my client and myself. It draws upon metaphor; experiental learning; life narrative; dream exploration; authentic movement; active imagination; meditation; and spiritual inquiry. I am a passionate advocate committed to helping people tap their natural capacities and claim deep meaning in their lives. I live my life this way. It takes great courage and faith to live deeply and passionately. I welcome the opportunity to be a mentor, guide, and witness on your journey. Transformation happens in the tension of opposites. I invite you to discover this fertile territory inside yourself.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Depth Therapy External link

As a Jungian Analyst I have committed my professional life to the work of Carl Jung. Translating his wisdom and understanding on the nature of the psyche with my clients while navigating the depths inherent in our human experience is a passion. It is not a path for everyone. If you have a desire to explore your inner life I will guide and support you creatively and compassionately.

  • Dance / Movement Therapy External link

I am a Jungian Analyst. I completed my thesis on the exploration of the relationship between shame and grandiosity by using authentic movement as the modality for that inquiry. Developing a relationship to our bodies and how we relate to them is a valuable and important healing path for all forms of human suffering.

  • Relational  External link

The therapeutic relationship is the primary healing agent in Depth Psychotherapy. Integrating the mind/body/spirit dynamic inside ourselves is essential to wholeness. The work is an inside out process.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Personal Growth External link

My life and work are committed to personal growth and transformation. As a Jungian Analyst I know the road less traveled in pursuit of individuation and transformation.

  • Loss or Grief External link

I am a passionate in my commitment to the profound healing and growth inherent in loss and grief. Courage, creativity, and conscious suffering offer a pathway through.

  • Parenting External link

I have successfully raised two healthy emotionally secure young adults - a girl and a boy. I love supporting parents in search of meaningful and healthy relationships with their children.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

I have worked extensively with individuals and couples struggling with how to relate more intimately.

  • PTSD External link

I have years of experience helping clients navigate the challenges of trauma. Working successfully with trauma, whether it’s developmental or specific requires a clinician and a client to intimately navigate the depths together, Co-creating a safe space of authentic attunement with strong, clear and flexible boundaries is foundational to healing.
