My Approach to Helping

My practice is rooted primarily in the relationship between my client and myself. It draws upon metaphor; experiental learning; life narrative; dream exploration; authentic movement; active imagination; meditation; and spiritual inquiry. I am a passionate advocate committed to helping people tap their natural capacities and claim deep meaning in their lives. I live my life this way. It takes great courage and faith to live deeply and passionately. I welcome the opportunity to be a mentor, guide, and witness on your journey. Transformation happens in the tension of opposites. I invite you to discover this fertile territory inside yourself.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Patrick Welly, M.A., LMFT received his diploma as a Jungian Analyst in 2018 from the C.G. Jung Institute Pacific Northwest. He has been in clinical practice since 1995 and is accepting new clients. He works with Individual adults and couples.

    As a Jungian Analyst I have committed my professional life to the work of Carl Jung. Translating his wisdom and understanding on the nature of the psyche with my clients while navigating the depths inherent in our human experience is a passion. It is not a path for everyone. If you have a desire to explore your inner life I will guide and support you creatively and compassionately.

    I am a Jungian Analyst. I completed my thesis on the exploration of the relationship between shame and grandiosity by using authentic movement as the modality for that inquiry. Developing a relationship to our bodies and how we relate to them is a valuable and important healing path for all forms of human suffering.

    The therapeutic relationship is the primary healing agent in Depth Psychotherapy. Integrating the mind/body/spirit dynamic inside ourselves is essential to wholeness. The work is an inside out process.
