My Ideal Client

You deserve a therapeutic space where you feel seen, respected, and supported as your full self. Together, we'll explore your inner world as well as the systems you exist in. I'll offer attuned, compassionate presence and evidence-based guidance that helps you understand yourself and your patterns more deeply, access your strengths, and cultivate a life that feels meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with your unique needs, values, and desires.

My Approach to Helping

I integrate many counseling theories and techniques into my practice based on client needs, goals, and preferences. Some of these are: feminist therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, collaborative problem solving, polyvagal theory, and expressive arts. I blend practical tools and skill-building with insight and empathy, always guided by your specific needs and preferences. As an AASECT-certified sexuality educator with over 15 years experience working with adolescents, I am especially skilled at working with queer and trans youth and their parents, and providing support for all young people in navigating puberty, dating, relationships, and sexual identity. I also enjoy working with adults exploring their sexuality, gender identity, and non-monogamy.
