Our Ideal Client

You’re doing your best to keep up, but the world feels unforgiving and overwhelming. Tasks pile up, routines fall apart, and even simple things take too much energy. You wonder why it feels so hard when you’re trying so hard. We work with self & late-identified neurodivergent adults (and teens) navigating burnout, sensory overload, executive functioning challenges, life transitions, and the everyday demands of just getting through the day..

Our Background and Approach

At Recreate Pathways, we specialize in occupational therapy for neurodivergent adults, with expertise in sensory processing, emotional regulation, and executive functioning. Our clinical approach integrates polyvagal theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and core occupational therapy principles to support nervous system regulation, build sustainable routines, and improve quality of life across environments. We know that traditional systems often overlook or pathologize the lived experiences of neurodivergent people. Our work is grounded in the belief that your lived experience matters. We trust your insights about your body, brain, and history—and our role is to support and expand on what you already know. We recognize and affirm self-identification, and we’re here to help you better understand and embrace your neurodivergence in a way that makes sense for you. Whether you’re navigating sensory overload, burnout, workplace challenges, or just seeking support in daily life.

Our Personal Beliefs and Interests

We take a collaborative, strengths-based, and client-led approach to care. We intentionally create a space that is open, safe, and affirming—where you are never expected to mask, downplay, or justify your needs. You are the expert on your experience, and we’re here to walk alongside you as you build something that actually works. We are also invested in dismantling systemic barriers that keep neurodivergent people from sustainable employment, healthcare access, and education. Much of our work focuses on helping clients navigate those spaces while preserving their energy, safety, and sense of self. This work is personal for us—because we also live it. As neurodivergent practitioners, parents, and people, we understand how hard it can be to access care that truly fits. We’re not separate from the systems we’re trying to change, and that lived connection is part of what drives our commitment to this work every day.
