My Ideal Client

You might be struggling to find the courage to make a life change or cope after something significant has happened in your life. Maybe you are struggling to gain confidence in who you are and express that to others. Whatever it is, change can be difficult, and I am passionate about helping you navigate that unfamiliar territory.

My Background and Approach

I have always been a book nerd, but life is not often as well-defined as a novel. We often find ourselves in situations and relationships that turned out to be messier and more complex than we expected them to be, and that is entirely okay. I am here to help you navigate life's many difficult situations and your feelings and thoughts about them. Tell me your story, and we will come up with a plan that is unique to you and your relationships to get you closer to where you want to be. Therapy is your space to let go of others' overwhelming expectations and discuss what you want for your life and your relationships. I am honored to get to support you along this new path. Your story might be hard for you to share, and that is okay too. We can move at a pace that is comfortable for you. Please reach out for an appointment—I am so happy you are here!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I grew up multiracial (Black, Asian, and White) and bisexual in Iowa—a place where not many people looked like me, loved like me, or understood me. I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2015, determined to forge my path toward becoming more authentically myself. When I am not in the therapy room, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, trying out a new place to eat with my partner, or fending off my two spoiled cats. I also love stand-up comedy, podcasts, skirts with pockets, cycling, meditating, and watching I Love Lucy.
