My Approach to Helping

I work with individuals who may be trying to cope with the feelings of insecurity, perfectionism, self-hatred or shame. Know that there is hope and that recovery is possible.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I use EMDR with my clients for rapid results. EMDR focuses on shifting those hard-wired negative beliefs that might creep up. As Francine Shaprio, the founder of EMDR, states, "research has shown that major changes can take place within even one EMDR reprocessing session." In addition to EMDR, I also offer art therapy, animal-assisted therapy, and more traditional talk therapy, integrating things such as mindfulness. Overall my approach is strength-based and trauma informed.
