My Background

For the past 15 years, I have been serving youth, adults, and families as a Mental Health Counselor and School Counselor. I have served as a clinical supervisor for masters-level Counseling Interns. As a School Counselor, I had the opportunity to provide staff trainings on topics including trauma-informed practices, de-escalation, conflict resolution, family engagement, interrupting hate speech. I regularly consult with professionals in my field to sharpen my skills and provide high-quality care to my clients

My Approach to Helping

I am a neurodiversity-affirming, queer-affirming therapist committed to practicing anti-racism personally and professionally. My approach to counseling is rooted in neuroscience and polyvagal theory, attachment theory, and a systems perspective. I am certified in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and as a Positive Discipline parent educator.
