Stephanie Winn

Licensed Marriage Family Therapist

Are you fed up with your partner, a mind-numbing job, or the state of the world? Are you emotionally exhausted, burned out on serving everyone, or just plain terrified of the future? I offer real talk for trying times. Together, we can help you reformulate your approach to life.

My Approach

My approach as a counselor is warm, direct, intuitive, and spontaneous. I value the process of building relationships with clients, and am very interactive. I strive to facilitate balance, equality and justice, with a social justice orientation and trauma-informed care. I welcome clients of different cultures and spiritual traditions. Some theories and approaches I have studied and integrate into my work include humanistic-existential, Gestalt, relational-psychodynamic, emotion focused, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment, polyvagal, mindfulness, mind-body wellness, somatic, ecopsychology, EMDR, and CBT.

My Background

I have been counseling full time since 2013 in residential, community based, and clinical settings, serving children, families, teens, adults and couples with a broad range of struggles. I hold a Master of Arts in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I also have a background in the environmental field and healing arts. I love to learn, participate in continuing education and expose myself to a wide range of resources that may influence our work.
