Licensed Professional Counselor

We all need to feel heard and understood. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues or life transitions, knowing there is someone there who will listen and support you with nonjudgmental understanding and compassion can make those challenges easier to face.

My Approach

I have a strength based, person centered approach which is trauma informed and incorporates psychodynamic, narrative and existential therapy, as well as aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques. I believe everyone has the potential for growth and fulfillment through finding meaning in their life. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, collaborative environment in which the client feels free to express their thoughts and emotions as we work together, exploring their goals and experiences and finding new paths to meet the challenges in their life.

My Background

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I earned my Master's degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis and Clark College. My professional counseling experience and training includes working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, trauma and crisis counseling, and emotionally focused therapy. I have had the opportunity to provide support to individuals in all stages of life, from college students to senior adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, work stress and relationship issues.
