I work with adolescents and adults, ages 14 and above. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or other concerns, I’m here to support you with care, curiosity, and understanding.
My Approach to Helping
I provide a compassionate, relational, and supportive space where we can explore difficult emotions and life experiences at your own pace. I take a strengths-based approach, so that we can build on the abilities and resilience you already have. My practice is informed by a variety of therapeutic techniques, including relational therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and skill-based approaches. I draw on these methods in a flexible, client-centered way to meet your unique needs.
My Values as a Therapist
As a Mexican-American woman, I bring a culturally informed and identity-affirming lens to my work. I'm especially passionate about supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals, while welcoming people from all backgrounds and lived experiences. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University in June 2021 and ground my practice in the values of social justice, equity, and empowerment. As a therapist, I strive to create an inclusive space where clients feel seen, valued, and supported.
