My Ideal Client

I work with teens and adults navigating stress, emotions, life transitions, and other mental health challenges. My clients often want to feel more grounded, confident, and at ease in themselves. I especially enjoy supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals, while welcoming people from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.

My Background

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Portland, Oregon, providing compassionate therapy for teens and adults in-person and online. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University and my Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University. Over the years, I’ve worked in group practice, community mental health, schools, and advocacy settings. These experiences—along with my identity as a first-generation Mexican-American—have shaped how I show up in the therapy room: with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for who you are and where you come from.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is relational and supportive. I want therapy to feel like a safe, grounding space where you can slow down, reflect, and be fully yourself. We’ll move at your pace, exploring what’s been heavy and finding ways to bring more balance and ease into your life. I draw from different approaches depending on your needs, but connection and compassion are always at the heart of the work. My hope is that you leave each session feeling seen, supported, and a little more at home in yourself.
