My Ideal Client

I work with teens and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or going through a big life transition. Many of the clients I see are dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship challenges, or questions about identity and belonging. Some are trying to make sense of things from the past that still feel present, and others just want to understand themselves better and feel more steady day to day.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is relational, supportive, and compassionate. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real connection where you can show up as yourself and feel understood. I tailor therapy to each person, pulling from different approaches depending on what you need, whether that’s building coping skills, understanding patterns, or working through emotions that feel overwhelming. Additionally, I have training in skill-based approaches, but I always keep the relationship at the center of the work.

My Values as a Therapist

What matters most to me is creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself: no pressure to show up a certain way. I value care and collaboration in the therapy space. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can slow down, make sense of what’s going on, and feel supported while you do it. As a first-generation Mexican American, I care a lot about cultural responsiveness, social justice, and making sure people feel seen and respected in their identities and experiences. I try to stay curious and grounded in how I work, and I bring a lot of respect for the fact that everyone’s story is different.
