My Ideal Client

I work with individuals ages 14+ navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or identity exploration. Many of my clients come from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and are looking for a therapist who offers affirmation and understanding.

My Approach to Helping

I provide a compassionate, relational, and supportive space where we can explore difficult emotions and life experiences at your own pace. My goal is to help you gain insight into the challenges you're facing and develop meaningful, effective ways to navigate them. I take a strengths-based approach, so that we can build on the abilities and resilience you already have. My practice is informed by a variety of therapeutic techniques, including relational therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and skill-based approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I draw on these methods in a flexible, client-centered way to meet your unique needs. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or other concerns, I’m here to support you with care, curiosity, and understanding.

My Values as a Therapist

As a Mexican-American woman, I bring a culturally informed and identity-affirming lens to my work. I'm especially passionate about supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals, while welcoming people from all backgrounds and lived experiences. I strive to create an inclusive, anti-oppressive space where clients feel seen, valued, and supported. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University in June 2021 and ground my practice in the values of social justice, equity, and empowerment.
