My Approach

I am still accepting clients and offering tele-therapy through video and/or phone. Right now many of us are feeling alone in our homes and I want you to know that I am here to support you. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation and I am happy to explain tele-therapy and what therapy can look like in your home. My approach is strength-based, trauma informed and collaborative. I have an integrative perspective, primarily using Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Together we can determine what will work for you. I work with young adults and adults offering support and expertise in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, self esteem/self worth, eating and body challenges, personal growth and exploration. I am passionate about creating a safe place for all people regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, age, size, religion or abilities.

My Background

I received my Master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Marylhurst University. I had the privilege of helping to open Monte Nido’s Clementine, a residential treatment facility for teenage girls. There I spent 3 years as an individual and group therapist supporting teens and their families as they navigated their way through the recovery process. I was able to work with a variety of diagnosis and eating disorder symptoms and develop proficiency and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders. I regularly attend professional trainings to deepen my knowledge and enhance my therapeutic skills.
