My Ideal Client

I specialize in guiding individuals through Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprogramming (EMDR) Therapy. This powerful approach offers significant relief from those struggling with trauma, negative beliefs about themselves, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and other experiences. Those who benefit most from my approach are curious, motivated, and open to an experiential approach to healing. I look forward to connecting with you soon :)

My Approach to Helping

I offer holistic therapeutic work that is goal oriented, action focused, and clinically informed. My approach to healing is centered around mind-body, somatic therapies including ACT, EMDR, and Breathwork. I studied with the Institute for Creative Mindfulness where I received training in EMDR Therapy with an emphasis on Expressive Arts Therapy. I am also a certified BioDynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release System (BBTRS®) practitioner. These powerful, integrated modalities support the unlocking and release of stored muscular tension, physical and emotional trauma, and energetic stagnation that is held in the body. The style of breathwork I practice utilizes circular breathing, movement, sound, meditation, therapeutic touch, and emotional expression to promote healing and release. We'll create a collaborative treatment plan that centers your goals for therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I was inspired to pursue this work while embarking on my own healing journey; chronic pain and mental health challenges led me down a winding path of spiritual exploration and deep psychic healing. Due to my own transformative journey, and thanks to amazing mentorship and guidance I’ve benefitted from throughout my life, I firmly believe in our innate potential for healing and growth. I've benefitted tremendously from ACT, EMDR, and Breathwork, and I'm passionate about sharing this work with others. I am nearing the completion of my Master's in Social Work at Portland State University with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health. On a more personal level, I am an avid gardener and an overall health enthusiast. I am also a deeply spiritual person who nurtures resilient faith that the Great Mystery is unfolding exactly as it should. Thank you for reviewing my profile- I look forward to connecting with you!
