My Values as a Therapist

I believe it's normal and part of life to suffer, get anxious, feel pain, loneliness and sadness. We face challenges that stress us and go through difficult times. My job, as I see it, is to work alongside & partner with you, to help identify what's happening, how you feel, what you want. We work together to better manage stress or find more joy, purpose & satisfaction. You may be facing a difficult life transition or feeling stuck and looking for positive change. I've been trained in many theoretical orientations and I typically blend strategies & interventions that are most sensible & comfortable for you. The therapy relationship is vital for progress and I strive to make our time and place feel safe, affirming, supportive and encouraging. I welcome your email inquiries-- let me know a bit about you & please identify insurance co. ***OR & CAlifornia video teletherapy clients only.*** Please email below if interested in consultation & wait list.
