My Approach

Whatever you are feeling right now, and no matter how dire your situation may seem, there is always an escape route. However, without the right guidance, how are you supposed to find it? I founded Lone Fir Counseling with a vision of helping people shape lives that are more connected, open-hearted, and fulfilling. I fuse my Western Education with powerful traditional Eastern healing methods to provide tailored holistic treatment plans. Whether you’re battling anxiety, depression, relationship issues – you name it – no problem is too big or small to be solved. I specialize in healing every aspect of your being from the inside out. Only then can you reap the full rewards of a happy, healthy, prosperous life. By developing a sense of safety and newfound resilience, we can reduce the impact of your trauma and maximize your potential.

My Background

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for helping people transform their lives. It is for this reason that I pursued a professional qualification at Portland State University. Today, I hold a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Throughout my years of study, I cultivated and nurtured my specialty to help with trauma and other various mental wellness issues. I have also always been fascinated by the astonishing benefits of Eastern healing traditions. I myself have been practicing meditation for mindfulness for the past 25 years, and have Buddhist monastic training. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked in residential treatment centers, vocational training programs, and mental health clinics throughout the Portland area. My goal is to guide people smoothly from where they are now to where they need to be, as quickly and painlessly as possible. Often, this takes time – and healing is not something one should rush.
