My Approach

I use the philosophies of trauma-informed and client-centered care in my work. I search for and capitalize on the internal resources and collective strengths of relationships, families and individuals to bolster their efforts throughout the change process. I see the therapeutic change as a necessarily collaborative process, honoring the expertise of each individual in their own experience. I truly believe that each individual, relationship, and family has the ability to heal, grow, and feel deep satisfaction in their lives.

My Background

I earned a Master’s degree in marriage, couple, and family therapy from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. I have experience in individual, relationship, and family therapy. I also have specific experience working with domestic violence survivors, people going through gender/sexual transition, and “explosive” children and their families. I offer poly, kink, and LGBTQIA affirming therapy and am knowledgeable about the unique challenges of members of these communities.
