My Approach

My approach to therapy is holistic and relationship oriented. In couples counseling, my orientation is emotionally focused therapy. I use movement exercises and the body to support lasting changes in people's lives. In addition, I work with imagination and symbolic methods (dreamwork, expressive arts therapy, psychodrama, Gestalt, and movement therapy). I have a background in working with the inner child, codependency, and healing toxic shame with a humanistic, transpersonal, and family systems perspective to heal trauma.

My Background

I have worked in marriage and family therapy since 2012. I have seen many couples and helped save relationships from the brink of ending, supported endings when it is the best thing for both people, helped newlyweds get through those first few years, and supported premarital couples to take the leap. I've received many hours of training, supervision and consultation in Berkeley and San Francisco, offering cutting edge techniques and proven methods. In the first session, expect things to start changing. What I love about my job is to support people to come to new insights that change their lives for the better.
