Like many of my clients, I have struggled with the ups and downs of anxiety and depression for most of my adult life. I came to yoga while undergoing treatment for cancer in 2010, and I developed a consistent yoga and mindfulness practice–a practice that I’ve used to manage my own mental health.

My Approach

I believe in a whole life approach to mental wellness. When we work together, I’ll be here to guide you during talk therapy sessions, and help you integrate movement, mindfulness and functional nutrition into your mental health treatment. My own experience led me to learn about what neuroscience has discovered about brains, therapy and yoga. The science matches with my lived experience: movement and mindfulness support our mental wellness, and it’s an amazing complement to talk therapy.

My Background

I am a Licensed Profession Counselor, Intern, Registered Yoga Teacher with additional training in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Certified Mediator with additional training in workplace mediation, and a member of the Oregon State Bar. My specialty is integrating movement and mindfulness practices into talk therapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression.
