My Approach

My work is client-centered with a special focus on helping, you find purpose, healing from grief and trauma, reconnecting with your body and reducing overwhelm. I believe in a healing and collaborative relationship by providing unconditional acceptance, empathy, understanding, and promoting trust. I believe that you are the expert on your life and respect your ability to choose your path with the support of the counseling relationship. I will provide a safe and comfortable space for you to explore and progress at your own pace and utilize therapeutic techniques that fit with your individual needs. I blend creative, expressive arts, traditional, spiritual and animal-assisted therapies to help you find insight, empowerment, growth and healing. I do not focus on diagnosing, I believe in healing the whole self through the safety and connection of the therapeutic relationship. I offer traditional in-person sessions with the option of going outdoors, as well as online and distance options.
