My Approach to Helping

I prioritize your strengths in my approach to therapy and will build upon those in our work together. Understanding our personal growth areas, and how we can build together as a team is my goal. My approach is flexible and will cater to your needs individually. I want to hear what you have to say, and truly understand your goals in this work together. I do this by getting to know you and asking you to be as open as you are willing to be. I will ask you to push yourself to reach those goals we set together and will always maintain a safe space to do so. I use a mixture of techniques and have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Motivational Interviewing.
