My Ideal Client

There are moments in life that crack us open Pregnancy, birthing and becoming a parent are full of these moments that feel destabilizing, incredibly challenging, and sometimes impossible. With the right support, this transformative time can be navigated with connection, insight and healing.

My Background and Approach

After growing up in Texas, I moved to the green of Oregon about 30 years ago. I spent my early career working and supervising in nonprofits serving unhoused young adults, including young parents. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2013 and have since focused my attention on perinatal mental health. I have experience as a foster and a biological parent. Everyone who is going through such a significant life change as pregnancy and becoming a parent deserves someone who is fully focused on supporting them. Please contact me for a free consultation.

Specialties

  • Pregnancy (Prenatal Mental Health) External link

Since becoming a parent myself, I have done extensive training in perinatal (pregnancy and postpartum) mental health. I love supporting pregnant people with all that comes with such a huge life transition. This can include fertility issues, pregnancy after a loss and advanced maternal age.

  • Postpartum External link

I have a passion for the postpartum period. It is a time that can turn life upside down in every way- physically, sexually, financially, and bring up a lot in our relationships. I have extensive training through Postpartum Support International, including in Postpartum Depression and Anxiety.

  • Women's Issues External link

Besides the transition to motherhood, almost nothing can be as filled with change as the perimenopause/menopause time in a women's life. I love supporting women who need an anchor during the turbulence.
