My Ideal Client

Even the most painful emotions have wisdom. Instead of seeing your mental distress as a disease, I view it as the brain telling us that things in your life need attention. This might relate to your body, relationships in life, old thought patterns, what you do with your days, to how society treats you. There are many roads that lead to suffering. I hope to work with you to identify the circumstances that make your situation unique, so we can better understand how to improve your well-being.

My Approach to Helping

So often, we treat our pain like an enemy to be conquered. But pain is not the problem—it’s a signal, a call. It speaks in the language of longing: for connection, for safety, for meaning. In our work together, we won’t rush to silence it. We’ll listen. We’ll turn gently toward what hurts—not to fix it, but to understand what it’s asking of you. I’ll invite you to meet yourself with tenderness and patience, to grow your willingness to stay with what’s hard, and to take steps—however small—toward a life that feels rich and true. Change isn’t about erasing the hard parts. It’s about learning how to carry them with care, while making room for what brings you joy. As a Social Worker, I understand how mental health problems can be a product of an oppressive society. For this reason, I value anti-racism, queer and trans liberation, climate justice, compassionate immigration policy, and a strong social safety net.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Alongside my traditional therapy training, I have received certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. My interest in this work comes from a desire to bridge the worlds of psychedelic healing and evidence-based mental health care. I believe that psychedelics, when held within legal, safe, and research-informed contexts, can offer powerful opportunities for growth. I also provide integration support for those reflecting on psychedelic experiences, with a focus on safety, support, and long-term change. Please note that I do not facilitate access to psychedelic substances or experiences outside of legalized settings in any way.
