Sliding Scale Affordable Therapy $50 and Under

Below are therapists in the Portland-area that provide affordable counseling services based on a sliding scale. If you choose not to use insurance and would rather pay out of pocket, the therapists below have committed to charging as little as $50 per session. Some counselors slide as low as $20 per session. There are many different reasons for choosing to pay out of pocket for therapy services. You may not have insurance or don't want to bother with your insurance coverage or have any medical record of counseling services. Finding a sliding scale therapist also makes sense if you have insurance but your deductible for mental health benefits is too high.
