My Background

Kim is originally from Colorado, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado before attending PA school at Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington. Kim spent seven years in emergency medicine in Portland, Oregon, gaining valuable experience in acute care. She is passionate about volunteering, she works with nonprofits to provide direct medical care to those experiencing houselessness. She believes in always meeting her patients where they are at regardless of their current situation. Prior to attending PA school Kim worked as a massage therapist, working alongside other integrative medicine practitioners. She has the perspective of working in both the eastern and western medical world. While working in the hospital system she grew frustrated with the large healthcare machine and the lack of holistic interventions. She has now transitioned back to outpatient medicine where she can focus on integrative care for adult ADHD

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I view ADHD not just as a diagnosis, but as a unique way of being where people experience the world in a non-ordinary way. People with this diagnosis have gifts that inspire new approaches to life's challenges. I understand the difficulties of navigating the modern world with ADHD both personally and professionally. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where people in our community impacted by ADHD can thrive and achieve their full potential.
