My Background

I am originally from Colorado, where I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado before attending PA school at Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington. I spent seven years in emergency medicine in Portland, Oregon, gaining valuable experience in acute care. I am passionate about volunteering, and work with nonprofits to provide direct medical care to those experiencing houselessness. I believs in always meeting my patients where they are at regardless of their current situation. Prior to attending PA school I worked as a massage therapist, working alongside other integrative medicine practitioners. I have the perspective of working in both the eastern and western medical world. While working in the hospital system I grew frustrated with the large healthcare machine and the lack of holistic interventions. I have now transitioned back to outpatient medicine where I can focus on integrative psychiatric care for adults.
