My Ideal Client

Some seasons of life can feel overwhelming and push you off balance. We are all taking on the world for the first time, so it’s natural to feel adrift, and even question your path when things begin to feel out of control or uncertain. Acknowledging and verbalizing these things that may feel off-limits or “too deep” elsewhere can help us make sense of our lived experiences and emotions, as well as find meaning in the life we are constructing for ourselves.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to therapy is integrative and responsive, grounded in Acceptance and Commitment, Existential, and Narrative perspectives. I see people as the authors of their own stories and view therapy as a space to air out, workshop and reconnect with our personal, lifelong manuscript. At its heart, my work strives to create a warm and affirming space that supports and empowers clients to harness their resilience, while helping them identify what matters most and how they might move forward in ways that feel most aligned and fulfilling.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I use “she/her” pronouns and believe that we are all a part of a multifaceted, vibrant community and that in the therapeutic space we should be celebrating and integrating the unique variables that impact the ways we walk through the world. I take particular interest in working with young adults navigating shifts in identity and the beginning stages of adulthood, as well as individuals in other transitional periods of life.
