Personal growth often requires an exploration of our value system and step by step planning. A meaningful life can begin at any time and a simple willingness is all that is really needed to get started. We can work on your vision and what is necessary to create a life with intention and purpose.

Within every one of us is a story of anguish, perseverance, and confidence that arises from heart-wrenching dilemmas. It's important that we face challenges that lead to growth and reflect on the changes that will lead to a more fulfilling life. Viktor Frankl said it best, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

Focusing on your own personal growth can be an exciting, daunting, liberating, and insightful time. It’s some of my favorite kind of work and collaborate and partner with! It’s a time to develop insights, pause and reflect, be more intentional with your time, and focus on goals that maybe you’ve been putting off but are feeling that now is the time to make changes.

Many of us have things we would like to see improve in our lives, like moving beyond survival or recovery to finding our personal best. Each of us have a different starting point and seeing growth in our lives is a very individual process. We may use a wide range of techniques to help you live and age well focusing on achieving a state of fulfillment.

My life and work are committed to personal growth and transformation. As a Jungian Analyst I know the road less traveled in pursuit of individuation and transformation.

In the end, all therapy focuses on personal growth. Very often our complaints stem from some fundamental unwillingness to grow. Childhood wounding leaves us hoping for a parental figure (or lover) to fill a void in our lives. The maturity that comes from looking at and facing our lives and the disappointments in our lives and taking responsibility for moving forward is a life-long process.

Life offers us times where we recognize ourselves at the brink of significant life transitions. These transitions are part of life and when addressed well we can live fully in our lives and through these transitions.

Personal growth is a never-ending journey. Each person is beautifully unique. You can move toward personal growth by discovering what it means for you to live authentically. We will explore your history, your passions, your spirituality and your creativity to help your uncover who you truly are.

Do you feel stuck or do you feel unfulfilled in some part of your life? The need for personal growth often comes out of the feeling that there is a discrepancy between someone\'s needs, values and their life. Much of our personal growth is limited by our conditioning / templates that we have created or that were created for us. To reach our potential, we need to examine the conditioning / templates and break free from them.

I often work with adults and couples who need a \'tune up\', want to understand themselves better, or who are looking to change their life completely. Whether it\'s getting back on track or making a major life change, my goal-driven and creative background allows me to assist people to learn the skills they need to develop and maintain their new path.

What task is greater than personal growth while in the adolescent & young adult phases of life? It emerges quite naturally as a focus during all my work with young people. Identity exploration, awareness of values and needs, and imagination are all cultivated as therapeutic pathways towards becoming more oneself!

Personal growth is a lifelong process unique to each individual. We will explore and delve into your values, attachments, desires and aversions to unearth thinking and behavior patters which inhibit your growth. Tapping intuitive self knowledge can generate insights and awareness to live with presence and increased balance as you determine your path.

I believe that at the heart of human experience we all have choice, free-will and the capacity for self-actualization and self-fulfillment. I believe that all people know what they need, and with the right support and guidance, will make changes that are the most meaningful to themselves. Everyone has growth potential!

I support my clients in identifying personal changes they would like to make and developing strategies to work towards goals. I assist clients in identifying their core values and living a life consistent with those values.

I believe everyone can benefit from therapy. Self-study can illuminate patterns of behavior and thinking that have been holding you back from a more satisfying life. I believe that you can transform the beliefs that have limited your internal experience and your relationships and you can learn more fulfilling ways of interacting with the world.

As clients have a greater understanding and ability to manage the major impediments in their lives (such as depression, anxiety, etc.) general self-care and an ability to go passed immediate concerns and into areas of long term wellness begins to emerge. I am happy to help clients delve into these areas.

Inevitably, life includes falling down, making mistakes, and living with hurt feelings. These experiences are usually interwoven with our own behaviors and our own expectations. Personal growth can occur when we turn towards, unravel the threads, gain clarity, and keep breathing. It is a process of discovery. My job as counselor is to hold the flashlight and ask good questions...

Who decides how your life is going to develop? Taking back ownership over the direction of our growth can be a vital and powerful tool in becoming who we\'ve always wanted to be. Take stock of your life and learn what it takes to become who you truly are.

I wrote my Master's thesis on the relationship between creativity, imagination, and personal growth. By utilizing a Jungian framework of 'active imagination', I show how personal growth can be obtained through creative expression.

Sometimes, we just feel stuck. What if we \'checked all the boxes\' and still don\'t feel happy or fulfilled? What if we didn\'t. There are various life events - birthdays, marriages, birth of a child, layoffs, death of a parent, divorce - that can make us pause and reflect, \'What now?\' Therapy can help us discover our answers.

Therapy is a great place to learn about the patterns you’ve developed (cognitive/behavioral/emotional/relational patterns), explore what has contributed to the development of these patterns, and work to change patterns that aren’t working for you anymore.

I believe everyone has an inner drive to become a better version of themselves, but maladaptive patterns prevent us from growing. I am trained in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help address negative thinking, maladaptive behaviors, and open the path to healing. \'Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom\'-Aristotle

I work with clients seeking to get more out of life, whether in romantic, family or friend relationships, or in their career. I compassionately reflect what is most important to you and help you to prioritize how to reach your goals in ways that create deeper meaning and satisfaction with less noise. I am engaged and interested in my clients and enjoy empowering others to reach their potential.

We are perpetually healing, growing and learning, but sometimes the process gets stuck. How many times have you said to yourself, 'There's got to be more to life than this?' Or maybe you know what you want but have yet to make it real in your life. There is a reason change is hard. I look forward to sharing what I know and asking you the important questions that will stimulate change and growth.

I have worked with many individuals on ways to nourish their inner development and learn to listen to their callings in life. For this work, I draw from my experiences in the wilderness and with the Animas Valley Institute. I believe that if we learn to hear who we really, really are, that so much in life become clear and simple in this complex web we live in today.

Regardless of where you are in life, having support as you navigate can be useful. I work with people who are stuck, in a transition, or just want to grow as a person. Through building awareness of how you operate and exist within your story, we can explore how to grow into the life you want to live.

For several years I have supported individuals in reaching their goals and overcoming obstacles that act as barriers. Lets work together on identification of maladaptive patterns and behaviors that sabotage personal growth.

Not everyone who seeks therapy is in a state of crisis or pain. Personal growth and the desire to live a life of purpose, happiness and connection are equally valid pursuits in therapy. A non-pathological approach to growth and change is a powerful and affirming path. My training in the Recreation of Self Model has provided me with a lens and an approach to working with growth and I love doing so!

Many people come to therapy with a strong sense of needing to grow and change even if they don't know exactly what that means for them yet. I will work with you to figure out how you would like to grow and heal in your life and support you as you move forward.

I support you in creating goals that re-connect you with what fulfills you, and in choosing actions that allow you to realize them.

Expressive arts is a wonderful way to go on an adventure to discover new things about one's self that are not necessarily immediately apparent to your conscious mind. My method of counseling is directed towards personal growth. I believe in growth as a model for learning and work hard to help people grow in their desired directions.

My personal and professional life reflects a deep commitment to learning and growth. I believe our fears, habits of mind, and our history can keep us prisoners of the past and future. My training in attachment theory, family of origin theory and practice , meditation, focusing, and embodied life give me the tools and help I need to help you.

Do you want to live with more authenticity? More passion? More creativity? Your motivation is commendable and together we can work to expand your insight, strengthen your resiliency, and reach your goals.

You're not necessarily in crisis, but a lot is going on, and there are some things that have been building and it feels like time to finally address them. Good news- you don't have to be in crisis to start counseling! You don't even have to know exactly what to work on. Come as you are, and together we can identify your hopes and goals and move towards growth.

As the writer and teacher Stephen Levine put it, “To heal is to touch with love that which was previously touched by fear.” A basic guiding principle in my work is that, when we are able to really see and accept where we are, and who we are, we begin to heal and grow. There is a trust I have found in this, that if we attend to what comes up in this place, it will lead us through.

I facilitate my clients process of deepening their awareness of themselves and their experiences. By gaining awareness of what was once unconscious, more self-agency and understanding is formed, in place of old patterned ways of being and reacting.

At the heart of my process, I encourage clients to deepen their awareness of themselves by evaluating how their relationships and experiences have impacted them. Growing an awareness of formerly unconscious, hardwired messages enables the client to become aware of unhelpful patterns and develop increased self-agency.

I believe that getting to know ourselves is one of the most empowering things we can do. Understanding our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and why we do the things that we do provides a sense of knowing ourselves that can elicit feelings of contentment, confidence, and fulfillment.

Personal growth is such a broad topic, but I have often noticed it includes skill-building, insight development, and exploration. Whether your are looking to delve deeper into one of these areas or go a different direction, make sure you work with someone you can trust and connect with. Please check out my profile to see if I might be that person.

Personal growth is a term that encompasses something unique for every person. A fundamental assumption of depth psychology is that the psyche tends toward expression and vitality throughout the life-span, and coming to therapy for something along the lines of 'personal growth' may be a good sign that a part of your personality is ready to be lived more fully.

For lasting impact, I have found the foundation of personal growth must be the fostering of a deep sense of worthiness exactly as one is. Although a commonly-held belief, self-judgment and self-criticism do not motivate us to do better; they keep us stuck in the very patterns we seek to avoid. Only when we learn to let go of unhelpful narratives about who we are can we realize our full potential.

As humans, we have the potential for healing and growth throughout the lifespan. I\'d like to help you reach your full potential, and integrate all the parts of who you are.

Do you desire a deeper sense of pleasure in your life? It can feel risky, even scary, to acknowledge that you want to experience more joy, connection, and awareness. During therapy, you have the opportunity to learn more about who you are, your relationship to yourself and others, and to create healthy changes. You are incredibly brave for choosing to pursue a more spectacular life.

Personal growth is my favorite area of focus, not only with my clients, but in my own life. When we tend to our own growth, it positively impacts everything in our lives. We cannot find the answers outside of ourselves because our truth lies within us. I will help you get in touch with your truth so that you can be in charge of your own life and experience the rewards of growth.

We live balancing our emotions, finances, spirituality, work struggles, home life and social relationships, if one area of our life is out of balance other areas may suffer. Using art therapy I am able to help clients look at these eight dimensions of wellness to find some balance, often while employing creative mindfulness and art journaling.

We are always growing, and that can be an uncomfortable and frightening process, I walk alongside my clients as we explore together the next steps forward.
