For lasting impact, I have found the foundation of personal growth must be the fostering of a deep sense of worthiness exactly as one is. Only when we learn to let go of unhelpful narratives about who we are can we realize our full potential.

This is a vital part of counseling to feel like you are growing in ways that are helpful. I can offer specific activities and exercises to do outside of the session to help make the change that is needed.

Sometimes, we just feel stuck. What if we \'checked all the boxes\' and still don\'t feel happy or fulfilled? What if we didn\'t. As the writer and teacher Stephen Levine put it, “To heal is to touch with love that which was previously touched by fear.” A basic guiding principle in my work is that, when we are able to really see and accept where we are, and who we are, we begin to heal and grow. There is a trust I have found in this, that if we attend to what comes up in this place, it will lead us through.

Who am I? Where is my life headed? What does it all mean? These are questions we're sometimes able to keep out, but there are times they bubble to the surface. When that happens, let's work on figuring out what your values are, what you want from the future, and how to get there.
