Local Experts in Personal Growth

I have both the training and clinical experience to treat issues related to personal growth, including academic pursuits, career goals, spirituality, identity development, separation/individuation, and mindfulness-based practices.

I am here to listen to and help you achieve your goals.

I work with many aspects of personal growth, including: addressing fears that hold you back, transforming limiting beliefs, gaining control over unwanted feelings, and creating more empowering habits and thought patterns.

I work with clients to increase awareness through processing life experiences that gives and allows space to finding connection between the mental, emotional, and physical self to reveal your own personal growth potential, and put it into practice.

As a Personal Growth Specialist, I view the human condition as a giant opportunity to keep expanding awareness and exercising creativity to meet challenges. Journaling, collaging, dreamwork, I Ching, as well as targeted tools like CBT exercises can be utilized to open minds and break up outworn thought patterns. A personal growth approach can make even the most difficult times more meaningful.

Who decides how your life is going to develop? Taking back ownership over the direction of our growth can be a vital and powerful tool in becoming who we\'ve always wanted to be. Take stock of your life and learn what it takes to become who you truly are.

Stagnation can occur in any sphere of life: social, marital, spiritual, career, or otherwise. Counseling can help rejuvenate these areas and bring greater satisfaction and fulfillment.

Not everyone who seeks therapy is in a state of crisis or pain. Personal growth and the desire to live a life of purpose, happiness and connection are equally valid pursuits in therapy. A non-pathological approach to growth and change is a powerful and affirming path. My training in the Recreation of Self Model has provided me with a lens and an approach to working with growth and I love doing so!

I use everything from meditation to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help people get centered and stay that way. Once you are working from your higher self it\'s easier to make changes that you want. I love the idea of transformation and can help you become the you, you are meant to be.

Individual counseling sessions provide a safe place for people to resolve inner conflicts, process life experiences, heal from traumas and examine personal thoughts and goals. I collaborate with each individual to create a unique, custom desiged plan to having greater peace of mind, better relationships and a more enriching life. Do you desire a deeper sense of pleasure in your life? It can feel risky, even scary, to acknowledge that you want to experience more joy, connection, and awareness. During therapy, you have the opportunity to learn more about who you are, your relationship to yourself and others, and to create healthy changes. You are incredibly brave for choosing to pursue a more spectacular life.

As the writer and teacher Stephen Levine put it, “To heal is to touch with love that which was previously touched by fear.” A basic guiding principle in my work is that, when we are able to really see and accept where we are, and who we are, we begin to heal and grow. There is a trust I have found in this, that if we attend to what comes up in this place, it will lead us through.

I believe everyone has an inner drive to become a better version of themselves, but maladaptive patterns prevent us from growing. I am trained in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help address negative thinking, maladaptive behaviors, and open the path to healing. \'Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom\'-Aristotle

Personal growth is a never-ending journey. Each person is beautifully unique. You can move toward personal growth by discovering what it means for you to live authentically. We will explore your history, your passions, your spirituality and your creativity to help your uncover who you truly are.

Within every one of us is a story of anguish, perseverance, and confidence that arises from heart-wrenching dilemmas. It's important that we face challenges that lead to growth and reflect on the changes that will lead to a more fulfilling life. Viktor Frankl said it best, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

Focusing on your own personal growth can be an exciting, daunting, liberating, and insightful time. It’s some of my favorite kind of work and collaborate and partner with! It’s a time to develop insights, pause and reflect, be more intentional with your time, and focus on goals that maybe you’ve been putting off but are feeling that now is the time to make changes.

Counseling isn\'t just for moments of crisis. If you\'re seeking to know yourself, to unfold patterns and gain psychological insight and acuity, I\'m here to support you in personal growth. We can work with dreams, relationship patterns, goals, chronic body symptoms, or even world issues as ways of helping you know yourself!

I support you in creating goals that re-connect you with what fulfills you, and in choosing actions that allow you to realize them.

As clients have a greater understanding and ability to manage the major impediments in their lives (such as depression, anxiety, etc.) general self-care and an ability to go passed immediate concerns and into areas of long term wellness begins to emerge. I am happy to help clients delve into these areas.

Trusting the process and embracing our power in any situation can help us grow. This is courage and it walks with us at all times. Sometimes its a little harder to see. I help you find that courage.

I believe that at the heart of human experience we all have choice, free-will and the capacity for self-actualization and self-fulfillment. I believe that all people know what they need, and with the right support and guidance, will make changes that are the most meaningful to themselves. Everyone has growth potential!

The last-frontier of personal development is sexuality. This realm has so many taboos, traumas, baggage, and miseducation. Focusing on this area as a path for deeper growth leads to new levels of pleasure and joy in all areas of your life. As taught by the Tantric tradition, stronger connection with the most sensitive parts of your body leads to unbelievable growth and thriving.

Inevitably, life includes falling down, making mistakes, and living with hurt feelings. These experiences are usually interwoven with our own behaviors and our own expectations. Personal growth can occur when we turn towards, unravel the threads, gain clarity, and keep breathing. It is a process of discovery. My job as counselor is to hold the flashlight and ask good questions...

There’s a good chance that you’ve found your way here because something in your life feels off. Maybe you feel a deep lack of purpose and meaning, or that you haven’t been able to find your true calling yet. Perhaps you’re struggling with communicating and connecting with your partner. Or, you don’t have a partner at all, and want to figure out who you need to become to find the right one.

Do you want to live with more authenticity? More passion? More creativity? Maybe you don’t have a single defining “issue” but are interested in learning more about yourself and your role in the world. Your motivation is commendable and together we can work to expand your insight, strengthen your resiliency, and reach your goals.

In the end, all therapy focuses on personal growth. Very often our complaints stem from some fundamental unwillingness to grow. Childhood wounding leaves us hoping for a parental figure (or lover) to fill a void in our lives. The maturity that comes from looking at and facing our lives and the disappointments in our lives and taking responsibility for moving forward is a life-long process.

My practice focuses on helping you understand yourself better and clarifying your personal values. I can help you become aware of the patterns in your life, so you can make intentional decisions about how you want to live your life.

Career and Decision Counseling: These days, decisions are a particular challenge because we are facing so much uncertainty. I will be excited to help you think through your big and small decisions and get in charge of the parts of your life that you CAN control.

My life and work are committed to personal growth and transformation. As a Jungian Analyst I know the road less traveled in pursuit of individuation and transformation.

Many people come to me for help managing symptoms, but our work often eventually transforms into helping people not only survive life, but thrive. I invite reflection on the finite reality of life and the importance of identifying what\'s important to you to feel like you have lived it well.

Personal growth is a lifelong process unique to each individual. We will explore and delve into your values, attachments, desires and aversions to unearth thinking and behavior patters which inhibit your growth. Tapping intuitive self knowledge can generate insights and awareness to live with presence and increased balance as you determine your path.

Much of my work around career counseling also speaks to personal growth, and this is related specifically to my E-H orientation.

Personal growth starts with really understanding where we are, here and now. To make lasting change requires we know what is meaningful, doable and true for ourselves. Sometimes we are trying to grow to get away from a part of ourselves. Sustainable personal growth involves cultivating a friendly, even compassionate relationship with ourselves.

Much of our personal growth is limited by our conditioning / templates that we have created or that were created for us. To reach our potential, we need to examine the conditioning / templates and break free from them.

Personal growth is such a broad topic, but I have often noticed it includes skill-building, insight development, and exploration. Whether your are looking to delve deeper into one of these areas or go a different direction, make sure you work with someone you can trust and connect with. Please check out my profile to see if I might be that person.

I believe that personal growth comes from challenging believes, gaining insight into ourselves and stepping into the suffering that holds us back. I have worked hard on my own personal growth and continue to push myself to life a full life. Those experiences help me to help others to do the same.

I facilitate my clients process of deepening their awareness of themselves and their experiences. By gaining awareness of what was once unconscious, more self-agency and understanding is formed, in place of old patterned ways of being and reacting.

In a way, we could say that we are not \'nouns\' but rather \'verbs\'; we are an unfolding process motivated by an inner drive that seeks to maximize our human potential

Cultural programming has conditioned many Women to adopt a negative inner monologue. Together, we'll change the words you use and the scripts you run from judgement to curiosity and ultimately, self love and acceptance. We'll discuss your openness for change and growth, and I will compassionately meet you where you are today.

I believe that we are all life-long learners and that life has many challenges and points of transition that can bring up feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety create barriers to us living our full potential. Through the application of existential theory and interventions in therapy we can begin to define your life\'s purpose, help you to take ownership of your life; past, present and future.

I have worked with many individuals on ways to nourish their inner development and learn to listen to their callings in life. For this work, I draw from my experiences in the wilderness and with the Animas Valley Institute. I believe that if we learn to hear who we really, really are, that so much in life become clear and simple in this complex web we live in today.

It is my pleasure to assist those who want to focus on how to maximize the results they want in their lives, either personally or professionally.

Sometimes coming to therapy is about exploring, where you have been and what your next life steps will be, or to explore deeper patterns that keep appearing in your life. I would love to be alongside you in this process!

I believe that getting to know ourselves is one of the most empowering things we can do. Understanding our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and why we do the things that we do provides a sense of knowing ourselves that can elicit feelings of contentment, confidence, and fulfillment.

For lasting impact, I have found the foundation of personal growth must be the fostering of a deep sense of worthiness exactly as one is. Although a commonly-held belief, self-judgment and self-criticism do not motivate us to do better; they keep us stuck in the very patterns we seek to avoid. Only when we learn to let go of unhelpful narratives about who we are can we realize our full potential.

At the heart of my process, I encourage clients to deepen their awareness of themselves by evaluating how their relationships and experiences have impacted them. Growing an awareness of formerly unconscious, hardwired messages enables the client to become aware of unhelpful patterns and develop increased self-agency.

I work with clients seeking to get more out of life, whether in romantic, family or friend relationships, or in their career. I compassionately reflect what is most important to you and help you to prioritize how to reach your goals in ways that create deeper meaning and satisfaction with less noise. I am engaged and interested in my clients and enjoy empowering others to reach their potential.
