My Ideal Client

Are you experiencing challenges with depression, stress, anxiety, racial discrimination/racial trauma, relationship issues, parenting concerns, or family conflict? Do you find it difficult to engage fully with others because of these concerns? Are they impacting your daily life and overall well-being? Are you seeking support and empowerment to create a change? Are you looking for cultural specific services? Do you need help identifying/ prioritizing what you’re experiencing?

My Approach to Helping

I have gained collective knowledge and skills to provide the best service possible to individuals with mental illnesses. The tools that I'll provide I have been perfecting throughout my career. I will utilize and share these tools and techniques to assist individuals like yourself face the challenges you may be experiencing within this present moment. I am a cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapist. I recognized the benefit of these tools and how they will positively impact your life. We will work collaboratively to address the difficulties that are bothering you. We will work towards gaining control over your body and thoughts that may be self-limiting now. I have assisted individuals within the BIPOC community. My experience is focused on trauma, recognizing culture as essential to successful engagement and treatment, and mental health issues with adults.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I believe therapy is about gaining insight into your true self. Many of us navigate this thing we call life expecting no challenges, fear, or worry. These aspects are constantly a part of our life, and we carry the inner power to face the difficulties we may experience. It's up to you to identify and unlock your inner strength and acceptance through therapy. Recognizing most of the work is completed between our sessions and outside of treatment. As your therapist, I serve as a facilitator throughout your healing process. It's up to you to take that first step, towards the direction you have envisioned for your life. Healing is a process and can happen in many ways. I enter this field with a non-judgmental and open mind. The client is the expert in their situation and holds the solution to their healing. I work in a collaborative environment and believe individuals should be involved throughout their treatment process. My work is built on empathy, respect, compassion, and empowerment.
