My Ideal Client

Becoming a new mom doesn’t always feel how we thought it would. You might be second-guessing yourself, feeling on edge, or just trying to get through the day. I help women with postpartum anxiety feel steadier, trust themselves, and find their identity both within and outside of motherhood. I also work with young women navigating the "shoulds" and anxiety of early adulthood. Let’s work together to make life feel meaningful and manageable, even when things are messy.

My Approach to Helping

In therapy, I keep things flexible and collaborative. My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, helping you make room for hard emotions while reconnecting with what gives your life meaning. I also draw from existential work, exploring questions of identity and purpose that often surface during times of change. My approach considers both your inner world and the world you live in. The way we feel is often shaped by context; by the expectations, pressures, and systems we move through every day. In our work together, we’ll explore what it means to care for yourself within that reality, rather than jumping to labeling your reactions as “wrong.”

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My work is built on deep respect for your autonomy and lived experience. I am a feminist who firmly believes in a woman's right to choose and works to challenge the restrictive societal expectations placed on women and gender roles. As a white, straight, cisgender woman, I engage in self-reflection and education to understand my privilege and ensure I am showing up as an actively anti-oppressive and culturally-aware therapist for all my clients.
