My Ideal Client
My practice focuses specifically on Men’s Issues, including expectations of self, relationship challenges, parenting, aging parents/roles, guilt and shame, feeling stuck as well as challenging old ways of thinking and behavior which no longer are serving you.
My Approach to Helping
I choose to work through a Humanistic as well Existential lens as I have found this to be the most effective approach in not only early relief but also long term for clients. These approaches encourage depth within a non-judgmental framework, which is helpful to break through old patterns.
My Approach to Helping
My approach to psychotherapy is rooted in respect, autonomy and the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My goal in therapy is to work along side you to help you achieve your goals in a way that is going to work for you on going. Our sessions are relaxed in nature, however it is also my role to shine light on pieces of the self that may need more attention. Therapy is meant to improve your life, it should never be something you are dreading or feel uncomfortable with.
