My Approach to Helping
Therapy shouldn’t feel like another place where you have to mask or get it “right.” It should feel like a space where you can show up as you are, talk honestly about what’s going on, and figure out how to move through it in a way that feels true to you. I see emotions not as problems to fix, but as signals worth listening to. Together, we’ll slow things down and make room for what’s been pushed aside or silenced. I’ll reflect what I notice with care and curiosity — including the patterns, beliefs, power dynamics, and survival strategies shaping how you move through the world and your closest relationships. My graduate training has grounded me in a relational approach, meaning I’m always curious about how your experiences impact your relationships — with others and with yourself. Whether we’re exploring trauma, family dynamics, identity, addiction, or life transitions, I draw from IFS, ACT, and somatic approaches to understand what’s beneath the surface and create something new.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work from a foundation of anti-oppression and affirm all identities and expressions — queer, trans, nonbinary, poly, kinky, sex-positive, fat-positive, and neurodivergent. None of who you are needs to be left at the door. I’m always open to exploring how our identities — whether they overlap or differ — shape the space we’re creating together. My personal experiences have profoundly shaped the way I think about people, systems, and healing, and I don’t separate my clinical lens from my lived experience. Outside of therapy, I work as a barista and have a deep love for coffee and community. I enjoy painting, writing poetry, spending time with family and friends, and music — and I proudly embrace my inner Swiftie. Solo travel is also a powerful source of empowerment, creativity, and aliveness for me.
