My Ideal Client

My clients often experience a belief system that gets in their way—an inner narrative that keeps them feeling stuck, unseen, or unfulfilled. The people who find me tend to grapple with relationship and career challenges, along with the frustration of knowing what needs to change but not how to make it happen. Anxiety, depression, and executive dysfunction are common struggles. Many describe a sense that what’s needed to feel whole, happy, or loved exists somewhere outside of themselves.

How I Can Help You

You and I will engage in a dialogue—an ongoing, curious conversation between two people exploring what it’s like to be you in the present moment. In Gestalt therapy, this process isn’t about being analyzed or fixed; it’s about discovering together how your thoughts, emotions, and sensations come to life as you experience them. My goal is to understand how you make meaning of what you’re experiencing. As we slow down and bring awareness to your process, you’ll start to notice the personal beliefs and narratives that shape how you experience your world and your relationships. With that growing self-awareness, we can begin to experiment in real time—trying out new ways of responding both in session and in your everyday life. Over time, many clients describe feeling more grounded, capable, and connected as they increase their capacity to make intentional choices.

More About the People I Treat

I often hear variations of: “I know why I do this, I just can’t seem to stop.” “I keep dating emotionally unavailable people. When I meet the right person, I’ll finally have a good relationship.” “If I could just find what I’m passionate about, I’d stop feeling so much dread.” “If I could stick to a routine, I’d be successful. I just need more discipline.” “There’s something fundamentally wrong with me. It’s hard for other people to understand how much I suffer, and I feel very alone in that.” If you see yourself in any of this, therapy can become a space to slow down, get curious, and start exploring what’s really happening beneath the surface.
