My Ideal Client

I work best with people who struggle with depression, existential dread, attachment trauma, anxiety in relationships, and who find themselves losing sight of their own individual wants and needs in relation to others. I love working with creative people who are interested in experimenting and challenging their status quo. Our therapy relationship will be a collaborative effort, and I show up as a real person who acknowledges my own privileges and limitations.

My Approach to Helping

I work from an existential lens and practice Gestalt therapy. This means we will focus on the present moment (here and now) and how we experience it through our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to become more aware of your patterns and reactions. With more awareness, we reveal more choices. With more choices available, change is possible. Starting therapy for the first time (or with a new therapist) can feel daunting. It's also an opportunity to transform that familiar feeling of stuckness. Our relationship is essential to the therapy process.
