My Approach to Helping

My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and strengths-based perspectives. I draw from relational and attachment-oriented approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Art Therapy while remaining responsive to the unique needs of each individual. We start wherever you are. My background as a queer immigrant, artist, musician, and community-minded human deeply informs my work. I believe that many of the challenges people face cannot be separated from the larger systems, cultures, and environments in which they live. My work is informed by social justice and honoring the unique lived experiences each person brings into the therapy space while navigating systemic obstacles. I enjoy incorporating creativity into the therapeutic process when it feels supportive and meaningful to you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside of my therapy practice, I enjoy making music, writing poetry, making mixed-media & fiber arts, roller skating, collecting field recordings in nature, and wandering through antique malls in search of silly and unexpected treasures. I deeply value community, creativity, and lifelong learning. I feel honored to witness and collaborate with others as they navigate the challenges and possibilities of being human.
