My Background and Approach

I completed my residency training at HCA Florida Largo Hospital, where I served as Chief Resident. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University and hold undergraduate degrees in Biology from the University of West Georgia and Humanities from Brock University in Ontario, Canada. I have a strong interest in academic medicine and global health. I have led and contributed to multiple research initiatives, and my work has been recognized at state conferences. I have actively volunteered to bring mental health care to those struggling to access it, including providing care to Ukrainian refugees. I am a member of both the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

My Approach to Helping

I am dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I utilize an evidence-based approach, tailoring treatment plans to each person's unique needs, goals, and background. I try to bring warmth, empathy, insight, and professionalism to every interaction. My approach is comprehensive, holistic, and focused on the biopsychosocial model. This means I strive to include all parts of a patient’s life when considering their diagnosis and treatment. I see a wide range of patients, including adults, teenagers, and adolescents age 8 and up. I work at a small telehealth practice called Oregon Psychiatric Medicine and am passionate about increasing access to high-quality mental health care through telepsychiatry.
