My Ideal Client

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to shift, I’m here to help. I offer anxiety therapy, grief counseling, and support through life transitions in a way that’s grounded, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. My expertise is in helping you build healthier relationships by addressing adjustment issues, codependency concerns, and working through PTSD. I also find deep fulfillment in walking with people who are facing the end of their lives.

My Approach to Helping

In practice, I like to "meet you where you are", tailoring our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life- whether it's through improving relationships, getting "unstuck", or resolving issues from the past- takes courage and I have a lot of respect for that. I am here to support you in the process of finding a better way to be.

Why I Became a Therapist

I am originally from the Midwest and have my undergrad degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. I got my BFA at Wayne State and worked as an artist and designer for years. In 2003, my first husband and I moved to Southern California where I ended up living for 20 years. In that time I moved away from design and into personal training, working exclusively with women to help them find their strength and be their best selves. After years of working in this field I realized that what I was really interested in was talking with my clients, helping them find solutions to the things in life that weren’t working for them. I decided to go back to school to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work. I finished my degree in 2020, and went to work as a hospital and hospice social worker. After a few years of working in the medical field I decided I wanted to make the shift to Clinical Therapy, which is where I have been ever since.
