My Ideal Client

I work with individuals and partners who are navigating complex emotions and identities. Many of my clients are exploring their relationship to partnership and sexuality, or are untangling challenges around body image, disordered eating, or attachment. I specialize in supporting queer and non-monogamous communities, and I strive to offer a space that feels affirming, curious, and free of judgment. I aim to honor your strengths while helping you sort through patterns and deepen connection.

My Background and Approach

My path to counseling grew from over a decade in adult sex education and strength training, where I witnessed how personal growth flourishes in the context of strong, supportive relationships. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Portland State University, and I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and respect for the complexity of each person’s story. Drawing from narrative therapy, internal family systems, somatics, and emotionally focused approaches, I aim to offer affirming, anti-oppressive care rooted in social justice, with a heavy emphasis on authenticity and comfort within the therapeutic relationship. Our work together will deepen at the pace that our trust and understanding of each other builds.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I do this work because I know what it feels like to wrestle with identity, relationships, and the body in ways that can feel overwhelming and isolating. Growing up in the early 2000s in a family that I didn't see represented in my community, navigating my own queer identity, and living in non-traditional relationship styles taught me the importance of belonging and authenticity. My years in sex education, personal training, and strength sports showed me how healing happens when we connect mind and body with care. As someone who has navigated eating concerns and is a survivor of sexual violence, I understand that healing isn’t linear, but I believe it’s always possible. I bring this perspective into my counseling practice, offering a space where your whole story is welcome.
