My Ideal Client

Clients who particularly resonate with my style of therapy often come when they feel stuck in painful, long-standing relationship patterns, are overwhelmed by anxiety or self-criticism, and identify within themselves perfectionistic qualities that feel hard to shake. They feel like they've quietly been carrying a burden hard to share with others and wonder if there is more therapy that can offer them than previous experiences.

My Approach to Helping

My work with individuals is depth-oriented. This means we are going beyond the surface to uncover what truly drives you in relationships, how you move through your days, and how you connect to yourself. We focus on patterns and themes that keep repeating in your life, how you have been formed in relationships and by the systems around you, and wishes for your life that you hold that feel "too far out of reach". I believe healing happens when we take the time to slow down, connect to the parts of ourselves that have carried shame, and move with intention towards living a full, beautiful life alongside the grief, pains, and sorrow life also holds; feeling a greater sense of self-agency and freedom.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy should be a collaborative and compassionate space where your story can be explored with curiosity, honesty, and care. It should feel like a soft place to land while also gently challenging the patterns and beliefs that keep you from living as your most authentic self. Over time, many individuals I work with begin to feel more grounded in themselves, more secure in their relationships, and better able to move through life with greater clarity, authenticity, and intention. I also believe that healing does not happen in isolation from the world around us. The systems we live within shape our experiences and sense of self. Creating space for your vulnerable parts means acknowledging the ways systems of oppression and injustice can contribute to suffering, particularly for those whose identities have been marginalized because of race, gender, sexuality, or other aspects of who they are. I strive to create a therapeutic space where all parts of you can be met with respect and safety.
