My Ideal Client

My work experience is varied and includes working in residential facilities with youth and adults experiencing mental illness and addiction, spending over a decade as an artist, and being an outdoor educator and art teacher for children. In the past I have led mindfulness group cohorts for adults mandated to treatment and for troubled teens and assisted hundreds of people through breathwork sessions.

My Approach to Helping

I believe that repair and growth flourish within a foundation of authentic connection and trust; that while healing comes from within, support from others is essential. My perspective is that individuals are formed from their unique environment and circumstances; I am invested in learning what elements have shaped your being. It is an honor to hear the stories, struggles and triumphs of an individual. I truly enjoy listening deeply and count humor, curiosity, and reflecting patterns as my strengths. I am a licensed breathwork facilitator and will center the importance of breath awareness in our work together. I offer compassionate and empowering strategies through a mindfulness and strength-based approach as well as offering evidence-based psychoeducation and tools when appropriate.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I come to The Path Center with a rich history of independent research and my own healing journey through complex trauma. My professional interests are in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, youth, adults, and couples, utilizing a trauma and attachment lens. In my free time I can be found dancing, hiking, cooking, practicing yoga and reading memoirs, poetry and books on psychology.
