My Ideal Client

My specialty is with college students and young adults navigating depression, anxiety, emetophobia, body image, and social media influences. My other main areas of focus are narcissistic abuse, addiction, feminine psychology, mother/daughter relationships, and persona/shadow work.

My Approach to Helping

Bringing your unconscious to consciousness. Jungian or Depth Psychology is applicable to all ages and presenting issues. I have a Master's in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. Young adults are beginning what Jung termed as the individuation process. Together we will identify tendencies of your persona and shadow, what changes you would like to make, and how to cope daily on your own. I have experience as a substance abuse counselor at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center for men, Lovejoy Surgicenter, Mother & Child Education Center a non-profit, Rose Marriage & Family Therapy, and currently in private practice.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

"It is no measure of health to well adjusted to a sick society" “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” - C.G. Jung "There are no justified resentments." - Wayne Dyer

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

The influence of social media is profound. Constant exposure is isolating and negatively impacting Gen Z at an alarming rate. Anxiety medication has become the norm but that doesn't have to be the only way. Whether its panic attacks, social anxiety, or a specific phobia we will find strategies to help you navigate through this complex and overwhelming issue.

  • Depression External link

Depression is extremely difficult. It is a subjective experience and unique for each individual. It takes patience, curiosity, compassion, and kindness. Between my personal and professional experience with major depressive disorder I can help you find those qualities within yourself to help navigate through this difficult and all too common time.
