My Ideal Client

You might be an excellent fit for my practice if you are currently navigating one of adulthood's many transitions, are experiencing chronic or acute anxiety or panic, or are affected by relationship issues, including family concerns. Throughout my training at top-tier programs, I have learned a range of evidence-based practices to help support individuals in their efforts to heal and grow.

My Background and Approach

Throughout more than a decade of dedicated clinical training, I learned to treat, guide, and support emerging adults and mid-life adults through understanding and coping with their specific circumstances and mental health concerns. I earned my PhD by valuing both clinical work as well as research -- a combination that led to me providing high quality, evidence-based care. I offer a warm, conversational therapy experience that is rooted in cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal practices. Treatment is structured into three phases: diagnosis and treatment, maintenance, and check-ups. This structure offers a road map to aid with expectations for your care, and will help support you moving beyond the concerns that have held you back.

Social Justice Issues I Care About

I am a life-long learner, and am committed to challenging myself and my beliefs every day. As such, I believe black lives matter, trans rights are human rights, and that everyone should have access to quality care. I have led trainings for other clinicians about how to work with LGBTQIA+ populations and how to provide gender affirming care. Additionally, I have volunteered at a 24-hour suicide phone center, which helped fuel my enthusiasm and commitment to supporting the mental health needs of anyone who needs it.
