My Ideal Client

I help overwhelmed parents of children ages 2–12 who are navigating big emotions, tantrums, anxiety, defiance, or everyday power struggles. Whether you're exhausted by conflict or just want to feel more calm, confident, and connected at home, I offer practical tools and personalized support to meet you where you are. Parenting is hard, but you don’t have to figure it out alone.

My Background and Approach

I'm a registered professional counselor associate, former school counselor, certified PC CARE provider, and mom of three. I specialize in working with parents of young children using a warm, collaborative, and practical approach. My work centers on Parent-Child CARE, a short-term, evidence-based program developed at UC Davis Children’s Hospital. It’s effective for anxiety, ADHD, autism, social-emotional delays, and big behaviors—and it supports you in feeling more confident, connected, and calm at home. You’ll learn over a dozen practical tools to build emotional regulation, reduce conflict, and create more joy in your parenting journey.

Why We are a Good Fit for You

If you’re hoping your child or family will change, I start by helping you feel more supported—because when one member of the family shifts, the whole system can grow. Using a systems approach, I’ll help you understand your child’s behavior in context, so you can parent with more clarity, calm, and connection. Whether you're facing tantrums, transitions, or tension at home, we’ll work together to create meaningful, lasting change—starting with you. It’s exciting to know that your choices, mindset, and presence can positively impact your entire family. Let’s build more peace, play, and joy into your daily life.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Adjustment Disorder External link

Parenting is full of constant change—and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed when you're learning a new role, especially for the first time. Adjustment disorder can show up when life stressors like a new baby, toddler tantrums, school transitions, or parenting a child with unique needs start to feel like too much. Each child is different, and even experienced parents face new challenges with each stage. You're not failing—you're adapting, and support can help.

  • ADHD External link

I have extensive experience supporting children with ADHD and their parents. I provide psychoeducation, practical behavior tools, and skill-building to improve focus, regulation, and communication. As a former school counselor, I also help parents navigate school support systems and advocate for their child’s needs—bridging home and classroom for more consistent, effective care.
