My Ideal Client

Things are hard right now and everyone deserves a place they can be themselves & be accepted. It is my job as a therapist to hear and validate your story and support you in curating your next chapter. I have worked with individuals in all stages of life while working through major or minor transitions, healing from trauma, loneliness, grief and the struggles of personal development.

My Background

My roles as a social worker have ranged from crisis line counselor, support group facilitator, restraining order advocate, shelter worker, and educator. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2007 and deeply appreciate being entrusted with people’s struggles, lives and triumphs.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have been teaching classes on racial and social justice issues for over 15 years and am constantly learning more about all aspects of it everyday and as Maya Angelou said 'When we know better then we need to do better'. I want to know better and I want to help others do the same. I am a mother of two LGBTQA kids and that has inspired me to learn and grow in countless ways and am more than happy to be the sounding board for other parents as they find their way to be the best possible support for their kids.
