My Ideal Client

Some couples come to therapy because they're having the same argument over and over. Others come because intimacy has changed, they're preparing for marriage, healing after betrayal, or simply want to understand themselves more deeply. I work with couples and individuals navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and family conflict, creating a collaborative space where insight can lead to meaningful change.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is integrative and collaborative, adapting to your needs while staying grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Rather than relying on a single model, I draw from approaches including attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), DBT, narrative therapy, psychodynamic concepts, solution-focused therapy, Gottman interventions, and person-centered therapy. Together we'll explore the patterns that shape your relationships, emotions, and sense of self while building practical tools that support lasting change. I don't believe therapy should follow a script. Every client brings a unique history, different strengths, and different goals, so our work together should reflect that. My role isn't to tell you who to become, but to help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the choices available to you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than twenty years in branding, design, and consumer behavior. That work taught me to stay curious, ask thoughtful questions, and understand the stories people tell themselves and others. I was drawn to marriage and family therapy because I believe relationships shape nearly every aspect of our lives. Whether we're talking about partners, families, friendships, or our relationship with ourselves, understanding those patterns can create meaningful change. I value curiosity over judgment and strive to create a space where clients feel respected, challenged when appropriate, and free to bring their full selves into therapy. I continue to pursue advanced training in relationship therapy, sexuality, and trauma-informed care because I believe learning never stops.
