My Ideal Client

I support clients wanting to change persistent feelings of not being good enough, heal from their past, and build more connection, joy, and fulfillment in life. Many of my clients want to understand patterns they feel stuck in, build a secure relationship with self and others, relate to thoughts differently, regulate and sit with emotions, and slow down a restless mind and body. Clients that are most successful with me tend to be goal-oriented and are accepting of their role in personal growth.

My Background

I’m the founder of Endeavor Counseling and Consultation. Before opening my practice, I’ve worked in community mental health, home-based therapy, and group private practices. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Washington University. Specialized post-degree formal training has included Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training and supervision through the EMDRIA approved Institute for Creative Mindfulness, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). In addition to my clinical work, I have served as an adjunct instructor for the Psychology Department at Columbus State Community College.

My Approach to Helping

A compassionate therapeutic relationship is the foundation of my practice. This space is client-centered, collaborative, and supports non-judgmental challenging and curiosity. I value empowering clients so they feel confident in their own abilities moving forward. Addressing underlying reasons that fuel presenting concerns is a focus in my work. My approach blends evidenced based interventions to help clients gain insight, develop skills, and address blocks - making room for change to ultimately find relief. I utilize cognitive-behavioral based therapies, mindfulness-based therapies, and EMDR. My framework is trauma-informed, non-pathologizing, and incorporates attachment theory and parts-work.
