My Ideal Client

Intellectualizers: You've been doing "the work" for years. You're familiar with attachment styles, trauma language, and maybe even unpacked how oppression influences your patterns. But insight alone hasn't changed how your nervous system responds. Anxious/Avoidant Couples: You love each other, but your unmet attachment needs and boundaries keep pulling you into the same cycle. We'll explore the cycle beneath the conflicts, new and old.

My Background and Approach

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I employ a therapeutic approach that focuses on illuminating places of stuckness and helping people experience change. I conceptualize our work together through the following theories: Emotion Focused Couple's Therapy, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and Polyvagal Informed theories.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I identify as being bi-cultural and was raised between mainland West Coast American culture and within a more collective culture in Hawai’i. I believe that everyone’s path to mental wellness is different, fluid, and informed by their culture and history. Healing is for all, but most effective when clients feel empowered, safe, and motivated to bring their whole selves and intersections to the work.
