My Ideal Client

While I specialize in men's issues, I thoroughly enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and experiences. Patients that tend to work well with my style value collaboration, emotional exploration, relational work, and also want to develop tangible strategies to improve their lives.

My Approach to Helping

I am integrative therapist drawing on the broad theories that support people in healing. Sometimes this is a directive/problem focused support. With other patients it can involve building insight into emotions, relationship patterns, and unconscious areas that contribute to distress. Whatever your goals, I hope to bring my considerable background in psychotherapy to helping you achieve your goals.

My Approach to Helping

Very often people come to therapy when they have exhausted personal resources and feel stuck in persistent patterns and challenges. I find by helping people become aware of the function and dynamics that contribute to their problems they can develop strategies to more flexibly engage with themselves and others. This often can contribute to improvement and increased capacity for self compassion and understanding in the face of the day to day stressors that life can bring.
