If you're someone who's feeling lonely, depressed, and lost and confused about who you are. You may be at a crossroads of knowing some or all of your identities but unsure how they all fit. I get it, and my therapy is centered around you and your lived experience. I want you to know that there is hope for you, you are not alone and together we can make helpful changes and work towards your best self. The highest compliment a client can give me is "you get me"

How I Can Help You

I’m no stranger to the stresses of gay Asian and BIPOC men. Growing up with Korean immigrant parents who were active in a religiously conservative Presbyterian church, learning how to be gay and my true, authentic self was a hard fought and worthwhile journey that informs how I apply therapy and healing. I strive to ensure that everyone who comes to me feels heard, validated, and accepted. I’m here to help you make sense of your life, clarify what matters to you, and help you make choices that fit into how you want to live your life. I’m not here to judge, I’m here to provide a compassionate and warm presence to help you feel less shame and more fulfillment. You deserve to be empowered and liberated from oppressive systems.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every client has the right to choose what works best for them. They are the experts of their own lives and I do everything I can to support them to make the best, informed, and most compassionate decisions for themselves. I am highly aware of the different traumas from physical abuse to religious and developmental traumas many in the community have experienced. I am active member of the gay community, a proud ally of the trans community, and I believe Black Lives Matter.
