My Ideal Client

My clients are youth and their families who are living with eating disorders. If you feel like your eating disorder has helped you, has served a purpose for you, but you're beginning to recognize that it might be taking more from you than you'd like, I'm here to help. I specialize in providing queer-affirming eating disorder treatment.

My Background and Approach

I'm currently a Clinical Director of an adolescent Eating Disorder Residential Treatment Facility and private practice owner. I'm passionate about creating a safe place to land for adolescents and families who are ready to see what their eating disorder is doing for them, thank it, and find meaning and belonging outside of it. I am LGBTQ+ informed and using TF-CBT, CPT, and Collaborative Problem Solving in my practice. I love family therapy- whatever "family" means to you. Eating disorders create isolation and fear of connection, creating kindred community to support you is essential.

In our work together, we’ll move at your pace—exploring patterns, making space for what’s been hard to hold, and building new ways of rel

Specialties

  • Eating Disorder External link

Eating disorders are not just about food. They are often intertwined with trauma, identity, perfectionism, nervous system overwhelm, and the experience of living in a body that hasn’t always felt safe In therapy, we won’t just focus on behaviors. We’ll gently explore what those behaviors have been doing for you—what they’ve protected, expressed, or helped you survive—and begin to create new ways of meeting those needs.

  • LGBTQ Issues External link

Eating Disorders disproportionately impact the LGBTQ community. I work at the intersection to support you in navigating what it means to live in a body that maybe hasn't always felt safe.

  • Family Caregiving External link

I am certified in Collaborative Problem Solving, an evidenced based model utilized to support reducing challenging behaviors in children and adolescents.
