My Ideal Client

You’ve tried to figure it out, pushed through, and held it together longer than anyone knows. Still, the same patterns keep showing up. The same arguments. The same distance. You’re not sure if you’re asking for too much, not enough, or why it all feels harder than it should. But you’re ready for something to shift in your relationship. Hi, I'm Sarah, and I'm glad you're here.

What I Specialize In

I work primarily with couples who feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. I also work with individuals who want to take a closer look at their relationships, with others or their work, to understand what’s happening in moments of stress, conflict, or disconnection. My approach is direct, collaborative, and empathetic. Together, we'll look closely at what’s happening underneath the surface, paying close attention to what's working, what isn't, and what might need to shift so that you walk away with greater clarity, confidence, and a real sense of moving forward.

Why I Became a Therapist

Before pursuing counseling, I spent 20 years in human resources and leadership coaching, working with leaders, teams, and individuals navigating conflict, burnout, and the messy dynamics that show up at work and in life. What I kept coming back to was this: people don’t struggle because they aren’t trying hard enough. They struggle because the patterns underneath are hard to see alone. That’s what drew me to counseling, and specifically to the work of helping people change. I’m also someone who has spent a lot of time in my own head, trying to think my way through hard things, and slowly learning to actually feel them instead. That experience shapes how I sit with clients.
