Whether you're navigating OCD, anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem issues, life transitions, relationship challenges, or just feeling overwhelmed, therapy can be a place where we can slow down and reconnect with ourselves. Let's build practical skills, better understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and create meaningful and lasting change so you can thrive!
Specialties
ACT is centered around helping us build a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions. Instead of getting stuck fighting or avoiding them, we learn how to make room for them while focusing our energy on what truly matters to you. Together, we'll identify your values and use them as a sort of "compass" to help you move toward a life that feels authentic and aligned with the person you want to be.
We are people first! Meaningful therapy starts with feeling genuinely seen, heard, and accepted, and while I draw from evidence-based approaches, I also recognize that no technique is more important than the therapeutic relationship we build together. My hope is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, knowing you'll be met with warmth and respect.
CBT is an evidence-based approach that explores the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Sometimes the ways we think about ourselves or our experiences can keep us feeling stuck, and a CBT framework can helps us recognize unhelpful patterns, develop new perspectives, and build practical skills that support lasting change. We'll work together to find strategies that fit your life, whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or other challenges.
ERP is one of the most effective treatments for OCD and many anxiety disorders. Anxiety often convinces us that avoiding discomfort is the safest option, but over time, that same avoidance can make our world feel smaller. With gradual, supported exposures, we'll practice facing fears while resisting the urge to rely on compulsions or safety behaviors. The goal is to help you build confidence that you can handle it instead of eliminating the anxiety.
Change isn't always straightforward, and it's completely normal to have mixed feelings about it. MI is a very collaborative approach that helps us explore those feelings without judgment or pressure. Instead of me telling you what you "should" do, we'll work together to help you connect with your own motivations, strengths, and values so that any changes you make feel meaningful and true to who you are.
Specialties
As someone who also lives with OCD, I know how relentless and convincing it can be. OCD has a way of making the impossible feel necessary, trapping you in exhausting cycles of doubt, fear, and compulsions. I also know that recovery is possible. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we'll work together to face OCD with curiosity instead of fear, so you can spend less time listening to OCD and more time living the life you want.
Anxiety can make it feel like your mind never gets a chance to rest. You may find yourself overthinking, expecting the worst, or feeling stuck in cycles of worry that leave you exhausted. Together, we'll work to better understand your anxiety, develop practical tools to manage it, and help you reconnect with the present so your life is guided by your values and not your fears.
Living with ADHD can be overwhelming, especially when you're always trying to keep up with responsibilities while wondering why things seem easier for everyone else. I enjoy helping clients better understand how ADHD shows up in their lives, including the ways it often presents differently in women through masking, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, or internalized self-criticism. Together, we'll build practical strategies and systems that work with your brain, not against it.
Therapy can also be a place to grow, reflect, and become more connected to yourself! Whether you're navigating a life transition, questioning your next steps, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, we'll explore your values, strengths, and patterns together. My hope is to help you build greater self-understanding, confidence, and a life that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
