My Ideal Client

I work with those who have not found the proper tools to be able to move through the world with comfort and confidence. I specialize in working with those who are dealing with large life transitions and those dealing with internal family conflicts. My focal points with clients include supporting them with the grief and loss process, supporting single parents and their children, supporting those dealing with social and relational anxiety, and those who come from dysfunctional family dynamics.

My Background

I was raised right outside of Los Angeles as a cis-gender white male who came from a middle class family. I was raised by a single mother from the age of twelve up until early adulthood. Growing up in a diverse community in the Los Angeles area with a variety of different life experiences has led me to enter the therapy space with a want and desire to meet people where they are at and better understand where they come from. Through this I am able to foster deep connections with my clients and create the space for them to be their authentic selves.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to therapy revolves around Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Existential Humanism, and Ecotherapy. I believes that people’s ideal lives are more attainable than they’ll ever imagine. My perspective of therapy is one where the client is the captain of the ship and the therapist is the co-captain, always there to be the “tap on the shoulder” when necessary. I have a strong focus on creating the space for individuals and families to feel safe to share without any scrutiny or judgment. I am passionate about the relationships clients want to have both with themselves, their bodies, and their caregivers. My work with clients also revolves around being a trauma informed therapist as well as assisting clients through the grieving and loss process. I feel that oftentimes the systems we are born into don’t allow us to expand on what relationships and connection looks like for us individually. I hold a strong belief that stories are meant to be re-written.
