My Approach to Helping
My approach draws from Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, the Nurtured Heart Approach, and Memory Reconsolidation. I believe that understanding your story is an important part of creating meaningful change. Together, we'll explore where you are in your journey and where you'd like to go next.
You may feel stuck in a chapter that seems to repeat itself, overwhelmed by a major transition, or unsure how to process something you've already been through. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you move forward.
Our work may include building practical coping skills, identifying patterns that no longer serve you, processing difficult experiences, and developing new ways of relating to yourself and others. My style is warm, collaborative, and engaging, offering validation, fresh perspectives, gentle challenges, and occasional between-session exercises when helpful.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the stories we inherit, the cultures we belong to, and the experiences we live through all shape how we understand ourselves and our place in the world. Because of this, I approach therapy with curiosity, respect, and a genuine desire to understand your unique story.
I am a strong ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and an advocate for social justice and marginalized communities. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe bringing their full identities, experiences, and perspectives into the therapy room.
Outside of therapy, I have a deep appreciation for storytelling in all its forms. Whether through books, movies, television, video games, or tabletop role-playing games, stories can reveal a great deal about our values, hopes, fears, and sense of self.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person deserves to have their story heard, understood, and honored.
